As part of its scientific activities aimed at developing students’ skills and promoting modern educational approaches, the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy organized seminar sessions for second-year students within the Parasitology course, under the supervision of the course instructors (Assistant Lecturers Duaa Ghazi, Duha Ghassan, and Mustafa Ghanem).
The seminars witnessed active participation from students, who delivered scientific presentations addressing a variety of significant topics in Parasitology. These presentations reflected a high level of academic preparation and meaningful engagement with the course content, in addition to fostering their research and analytical competencies.
This activity is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to adopt Student-Centered Learning methodologies, which contribute to enhancing students’ scientific presentation and communication skills, while strengthening their self-confidence, in alignment with the standards of academic quality and accreditation.
