In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Nineveh, along with its faculty and students, organized a commemorative vigil on Sunday, September in 29/9/2024, remembrance of the martyr of Islamic resistance, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah.
The vigil included the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyr of the nation. Participants called upon countries around the world, as well as international and human rights organizations, to fulfill their roles in confronting and holding accountable this barbaric adversary while upholding human rights.
It is noteworthy that this vigil is part of a series of denunciatory events organized by the university in response to the ongoing situations in Gaza and Lebanon, demonstrating solidarity with our brothers and all oppressed individuals globally.
