On Thursday,6 of February , 2025, the Central Committee for Volunteer Activities at Nineveh University organized a tree planting campaign at Al-Mamoun Park. This initiative was undertaken in accordance with the directives of the University President and Committee Chair, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and reflects the university’s commitment to community service.
The campaign, which was conducted in collaboration with the Al-Mosul Al-Jadida Municipality sector, saw the participation of several university students, including those from the College of Information Technology. This participation aligns with the call from the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoola, who encouraged support for volunteer activities.
The campaign involved the planting of 40 trees in the park as part of the university’s efforts to enhance green spaces in the city and promote environmental sustainability. The university expressed its gratitude to all participants and wished for continued contributions to serve the city of Nineveh.
