The Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs Chairs a Discussion Committee at the College of Electronics Engineering at the University of Nineveh
Within the framework of joint academic cooperation between the colleges of the University of Nineveh and the exchange of scientific and research expertise among faculty members,
Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Othman Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Information Technology, chaired the discussion committee for graduate student Amir Yassin Siddiq at the College of Electronics Engineering/Department of Communications.
The student submitted his master’s thesis entitled:
“Using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV-Drones) as a Mobile Base Station in 5G Networks in Emergency Situations.”
The thesis addressed the use of drone technologies to enhance the efficiency of 5G networks and ensure the continuity of communications services in emergency environments and affected areas, given the effectiveness of these technologies in supporting modern communications infrastructure.
