The Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, extends her warmest congratulations to Dr. Lubna Dhunoun Ahmaidi on her appointment as Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department at our college. We wish her continued success in her academic and administrative career and further contributions to the service of the college and our esteemed university.
Dr. Lubna Dhunoun Ahmaidi holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and her Master’s degree in Image Processing from the same college.
Throughout her academic career, she worked as a teacher at the College of Information Technology and the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh, contributing to the teaching of various courses in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing, in addition to supervising undergraduate graduation projects. She also held several administrative positions, including Head of the Scientific Affairs Unit and Head of the Library Department, and contributed effectively to developing administrative performance and preparing curricula that keep pace with modern developments in information technology.
