As part of the Career Development and Employment Unit’s activities and in accordance with its annual plan, the Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Information Technology held a workshop on “Online Education” on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The workshop, presented by Dr. Zainab Saadi Hussein, targeted current and former students of the college, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills in online education. The workshop covered the importance of online education, its various models, its advantages (flexibility and accessibility), and its real-world challenges, along with strategies for overcoming them. The workshop also explained key educational platforms, their design and development, and future technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, as well as how to leverage blended learning in educational environments to enhance the efficiency and quality of education.
The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the participants, including insightful discussions and an exchange of ideas, which contributed to strengthening students’ knowledge and broadening their understanding of online education mechanisms and the importance of specialized tools in this field
