The Dean of the College of Information Technology held a meeting with college faculty to discuss academic publishing and the distribution of tasks for the international conference.
The Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmula, chaired a meeting with college faculty members, in the presence of members of the College Council. The meeting discussed several academic and organizational topics.
The meeting’s topics were as follows:
1. Academic Publishing: The Dean urged faculty members to enhance their efforts in publishing sound academic research, which would contribute to raising the academic and research standing of the college and university.
2. Directives from the Ministry and the University Presidency: Emphasizing adherence to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and the University of Nineveh Presidency regarding student attendance and the start of the new academic year 2025-2026.
3. International Conference: Announcing the college’s participation, in cooperation with the College of Electronics Engineering, in organizing an international conference. During the meeting, the distribution of tasks and committees among faculty members was discussed to ensure the success of the conference.
4. Academic Promotions: Discussing the obstacles facing faculty members regarding academic promotions and seeking practical solutions to overcome them.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean affirmed her commitment to supporting faculty members and affiliates, praising their efforts in serving the academic process and enhancing the college’s standing.
