The College of Information Technology Holds a Training Course on the Use of Electronic Software in Writing Scientific Research and Graduation Projects

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Nineveh, Professor Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Manar Younis Kashmula, the College of Information Technology held a training course as part of its continuing education programs entitled:
“How to Use Electronic Software in Writing Scientific Research and Graduation Projects, and How to Use Mendeley Program to Organize Sources.”

The course was delivered by Asst. Dr. Ahmed Mahfouz Taha and Asst.Lec. Khalida Saud Ahmed. It aimed to introduce the importance of using electronic software in scientific writing and its role in enhancing the quality of scientific research and improving the quality of academic research and graduation projects. It also aimed to organize and structure scientific research and address the challenges facing researchers while preparing their research.

The course also included a practical section introducing Mendeley program and how to use it to manage references and organize scientific sources professionally.

The course focused on:

Identifying the electronic software that assists in writing scientific research.

Identifying the graduation project template and how to use it.


Learn about Mendeley program and how to use it to organize scholarly sources.

The course targeted all college students and affiliates and witnessed outstanding interaction from participants, who praised the importance of the topic and the richness of the scientific material presented.
