The Psychological Counseling and University Guidance Unit at the college held a workshop entitled “Digital Security: Strategies for Countering Cyber Blackmail.”
The workshop was presented by Dr. Karam Mohammed Mahdi Saleh and Dr. Ahmed Qasim Ahmed.
The workshop addressed mechanisms for countering common cyberattacks such as phishing and ransomware, focusing on methods for protecting personal data and securing digital accounts. The workshop also reviewed the correct legal and technical approaches for dealing with blackmail attempts, aiming to cultivate an aware generation that contributes to spreading security awareness within society
