The Continuing Education Center at Nineveh University, in cooperation with the College of Information Technology, launched a specialized training course entitled “Introduction to Cybersecurity (CCNP Security)” on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This course is part of the university’s plans to develop technical skills and enhance awareness of information security.
The five-day course is being held in the Engineer Mizer Hall at the College of Law, with daily lectures beginning at 10:00 AM.
The course is being taught by a select group of instructors and specialists, including:

The course aims to introduce participants to cybersecurity concepts, the fundamentals of network protection, and how to deal with digital threats according to modern standards, thereby contributing to raising the scientific and practical competence of participating students and university staff. This course comes as part of Nineveh University’s commitment to keeping pace with technological developments and strengthening the partnership between its training centers and specialized colleges
