The Assistant Dean of the College of Information Technology for Academic Affairs participated in a committee for the defense of a master’s thesis at the Northern Technical University.

In line with the cooperation agreement between Nineveh University and Northern Technical University, and following the directives of the University President, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani,

Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Associate Prof. Dr. Ali Othman Mohammed, participated in the defense committee for the master’s thesis presented by researcher Rawia Salem at the Engineering Technical College of Northern Technical University. The thesis is entitled “Deep Learning and Machine Learning Models for Detecting Phishing Emails.”

The objective of the thesis was to provide a comprehensive study that employs deep learning and machine learning algorithms to detect fraudulent emails. We extend our best wishes to the student and the defense committee for continued success and progress.
