The College of Information Technology at Nineveh University organized a workshop on combating financial and administrative corruption

Under the patronage of the President of Nineveh University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, the Continuous Education Unit of the college held a workshop titled “The Role of Legislation and Regulatory Bodies in Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption” on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
The workshop featured presentations by Associate Prof. Dr. Mona Salem Hussein Al-Saigh and Asst. Lect. Jassim Khudair Ali.
The workshop included definitions of corruption, its types, effects, and methods of combating it, while addressing the importance of the role of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit in reducing corruption, in addition to the contributions of Sharia and law in fighting corruption.
The aim of this workshop was to enhance awareness of the risks associated with corruption and strategies for addressing it, with a particular focus on the role of legislation and regulatory bodies in achieving transparency and integrity within institutions.
