The Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Information Technology Organizes a Training Course on “Entrepreneurship”


Under the patronage of the President of Nineveh University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoola, the Career Development and Employment Unit at the college organized a training course titled “Entrepreneurship” on Sunday and Monday, December 1-2, 2024.
The course was presented by Asst. Lect. Mohammed Talal Mohammed and covered key topics including: the concept of entrepreneurship and its significance, fields and types of entrepreneurship, characteristics and requirements of entrepreneurship, steps for establishing an entrepreneurial project, and examples of prominent entrepreneurs.
The course witnessed fruitful interaction with the students through discussions and QA sessions. The objective of the course was to empower students to transform their ideas into successful business ventures, with the following main goals:

  1. spreading a culture of entrepreneurship.
  2. develop skills and knowledge among students.
  3. providing the necessary support and encouragement.
  4. stimulate innovation and creativity.
  5. building the relationships and present inspiring role models.
    This course is part of the college’s efforts to enhance student skills and encourage them to adopt entrepreneurial concepts, contributing to community development and achieving economic growth.
