The College of Information Technology organized a workshop entitled “Developing Faculty Performance: Performance Evaluation Mechanism and Improvement Plans” on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The workshop targeted a group of faculty members and focused on mechanisms for evaluating academic and educational performance, and strategies for developing and improving it through well-thought-out practical plans. It also addressed the scientific foundations of performance evaluation and ways to improve it in line with international quality and academic accreditation standards.
The workshop emphasized the importance of academic publishing in reputable and accredited international journals and its role in raising the academic rankings of both faculty and the university.
The workshop concluded with a rich discussion session, which included numerous contributions and questions from the attendees. The discussion focused on the need to keep pace with international academic developments and standards in the field of higher education and scientific research.
