The College of Information Technology Organizes a Workshop on “Job Interviews”

Under the patronage of prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of Nineveh University, and the supervision of prof. Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoola, Dean of the College of Information Technology, the Employment and Rehabilitation Unit of the college organized a workshop for students of the Networking and Software Departments on Thursday, 5 of December 2024, entitled “Job Interviews.”

The workshop was presented by Asst .Lect. Khalida Saud Ahmed and addressed several key topics, including:

  • The significance of job interviews and their impact on future employment.
  • An introduction to the skills and techniques for conducting effective job interviews.
  • Guidance for students on how to respond to questions posed during interviews in a manner that reflects confidence and credibility.
  • A training activity aimed at enhancing communication skills and successfully managing dialogue.

The workshop aimed to familiarize students with employers’ perspectives during interviews and to train them to focus on and highlight their personal strengths. Additionally, it emphasized the importance of enhancing professional capabilities and activating student initiatives to achieve success in the workplace.
