The Head of the Computer Networks and Internet Department at the University of Nineveh Participates in a Doctoral Dissertation Defense at the University of Mosul

As part of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the Universities of Nineveh and Mosul,

The Head of the Computer Networks and Internet Department at the College of Information Technology, University of Nineveh, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Sabah Abdul Aziz, participated as a member of the doctoral dissertation defense committee for student Qasim Abdullah Ahmed at the College of Engineering, University of Mosul.

The defense took place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in the discussion hall of the Computer Engineering Department. The student’s dissertation was titled:

“A Multi-Model Biometric System Using Artificial Intelligence.”

The dissertation addressed the development of human recognition technologies based on facial features and gait, and the integration of these biometric characteristics using artificial intelligence to enhance the system’s accuracy.
