The Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Information Technology organizes a workshop entitled:

“A Confident Start: Skills for Adapting to University Life”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Nineveh, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, the Psychological Counseling Unit at the college organized a workshop for first-year students entitled “A Confident Start: Skills for Adapting to University Life.”

The workshop aimed to help new students understand the nature of the university environment and how to deal with the academic and social challenges they may face during their first year. It also aimed to boost their self-confidence and encourage them to adopt effective time management techniques and develop their academic skills.

The workshop lectures were delivered by a select group of faculty members from the college, including:

  • Dr. Huthaifa Luay Mohammed
  • Dr. Karam Mohammed Mahdi Saleh
  • Asst.Lec. Abdulmajid Ahmed Rafat
  • Asst.Lec. Ali Khairi Ahmed

The lecturers addressed several topics, including psychological and social adaptation skills, mechanisms for overcoming academic stress, the importance of building positive relationships within the university environment, and practical guidance to help students achieve a strong start in their academic journey
