The Vice President of Nineveh University for Scientific Affairs Inspects the Educational Process at the College of Information Technology

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Professor Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, Vice President of Nineveh University for Scientific Affairs, visited the College of Information Technology to review the educational process in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and other departments within the college.

He was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, and the heads of the academic departments. Dr. Ali Othman, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, accompanied him on the visit.

The visit included monitoring the educational process in all departments, observing the regularity of lectures and the performance of students, particularly first-year students, as well as inspecting classrooms, laboratories, and the infrastructure supporting the teaching process.

During the meeting, discussions were held on ways to develop curricula to align with the demands of the modern job market and to update the practical and applied aspects of information technology specializations. Mechanisms for supporting departments in enhancing the quality of their graduates and meeting the requirements for academic accreditation were also explored.

The Assistant University President commended the organizational and academic standards of the College of Information Technology, praising the efforts of the college’s deanship and its teaching and administrative staff in enhancing the educational process and providing a stimulating learning environment for students.
