Prof Khalil was invited by the foundation as he is among the committee of reviewers for the awards. The ceremony was organized on 5 Nov. 2017 at Amman. Prizes were handed by the princess Ghaydaa to the 11 winners who are academics from various Arab countries.
The competition for this award was launched in 1982 to promote Arab scientific research and provide incentives to upcoming generations of young Arab scientists.
