Under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, the Continuing Education Center at the university organized a workshop on Sunday, 2024/09/08, at the Rehabilitation Hall under the title “Raising Awareness on the Culture of Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability.”
The first lecture was delivered by Dr. Naemat Mohammed Mustafa, a lecturer from the College of Law, who provided an introductory overview of integrity, its standards, and how to apply and protect public funds.
The second lecture was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Khalaf, also from the College of Law. His lecture focused on the standards of transparency, important topics related to academic work ethics, and responsibility in transparency and accountability.
The workshop concluded with several key recommendations:
- Enhancing the understanding of the importance of transparency in academic research and administrative processes.
- Highlighting the significance of academic integrity and how to implement it in daily practices.
- Establishing clear foundations for accountability in academic and professional work.
- Discussing tools to promote transparency in handling academic data and information.
