Scientific Collaboration Between the College of Medicine at the University of Ninevah and the College of Medicine at the University of Sharjah to Enhance Medical Education

As part of the ongoing scientific collaboration between the College of Medicine at the University of Ninevah and the College of Medicine at the University of Sharjah, and in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, the College of Medicine at the University of Ninevah hosted Prof. Dr. Nabil Salman, Director of the Clinical and Surgical Training Center at the University of Sharjah.

Prof. Dr. Nabil Salman was welcomed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Prof. Dr. Moumen Junaid Al-Dabbouni.

During his visit, Prof. Dr. Nabil Salman delivered a series of scientific lectures aimed at advancing medical education and enhancing students’ competencies.

The lectures were held over two days, Sunday and Monday, January 19-20, 2025, in the college’s scientific hall. They covered modern and important topics, including patient safety in education, problem-based learning (PBL), competency assurance programs, OSCE examinations, and research methodology.

This collaboration reflects the commitment of both colleges to developing educational programs based on best global practices and enhancing academic exchange and expertise between the two institutions. It also underscores the college’s dedication to adopting the latest methods in medical education to prepare future physicians in line with international standards.

In conclusion, the University President and the Dean of the College of Medicine praised the extensive collaboration and the pioneering role of the University of Sharjah in the field of medical education, expressing their anticipation for more fruitful cooperation in the future.
