Under the patronage and guidance of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Ninevah, held a workshop titled “Combating Social Stigma,” targeting all staff members of the University of Ninevah.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Maha Riyadh Mohammed Amin, who presented an introduction to the concept and types of social stigma, in addition to offering an overview of its economic, social, psychological, and religious impacts on individuals and society, as well as ways to combat it.
The lecture received significant engagement from the attendees, with an open discussion and Q&A session held to ensure the lecture’s intended benefits were fully realized. Wishing the lecturer continued progress and success.
