The Dermatology Division at the College organized a specialized scientific seminar titled “The Role of Sunlight in Skin Aging” on the evening of Friday, May 30, 2025, with notable and distinguished attendance.
The seminar featured advanced scientific lectures addressing the harmful effects of sunlight on the skin, as well as mechanisms of prevention and treatment. It also included a review of the latest dermatological products and technologies used in the field.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, a group of dermatologists from the city of Mosul, and a number of faculty members and staff from the college. Their presence added a dynamic and interactive scientific atmosphere to the seminar.
Thanks to excellent organization, rich scientific content, and active engagement from attendees, the seminar was a successful milestone by all standards. It contributed to reinforcing the College of Medicine’s role in promoting medical awareness and fostering effective engagement with the medical community in the province.
