On Monday, June 16, 2025, a delegation from the University of Ninevah, headed by the University President, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, visited the Turkish Consulate in Nineveh Governorate. The delegation included the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabbouni, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mayser Al-Qutachi, assistant deans from the Colleges of Nursing and Medicine, and the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations. The delegation was warmly received by His Excellency the Turkish Consul, Mr. Serhat Varli.
The meeting began with an exchange of congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. The discussion focused on the University of Ninevah’s desire to establish joint academic and scientific cooperation agreements with Turkish universities, pending the necessary official approvals from the relevant authorities in our esteemed Ministry.
For his part, His Excellency the Turkish Consul praised the academic and scientific reputation of the University of Ninevah, affirming his readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate coordination between the University of Ninevah and Turkish universities, particularly in the areas of exchange visits and expertise, and in signing cooperation agreements that contribute to enhancing the quality of education in both countries.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation from the University of Ninevah expressed their gratitude to the Turkish Consul for his warm welcome and generous hospitality, wishing for further collaboration in service of the educational journey in both nations.
