The University of Ninevah has achieved significant progress in this year’s Times Higher Education Impact Ranking, which witnessed increased competition among Iraqi universities. The results showed a rise in the number of participating Iraqi universities to 88, compared to 71 last year.
This ranking is based on 17 criteria measuring the achievement of sustainability within universities. The final score is calculated by selecting the three criteria in which the university scores the highest, provided that one of them is SDG-17, which pertains to partnerships for the goals.
Our university secured the 66th place out of 88 universities, placing it in the top of the fourth quartile among Iraqi universities and earning a respectable position among its peer young institutions.
On this occasion, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, congratulated the University Council and all staff members on this achievement. He praised the efforts of the university’s entire workforce in striving for higher rankings and wished the University of Ninevah continued progress and prosperity.
