Master’s Thesis at the University of Ninevah Explores: Optimum Design and Simulation of Charge Pump Circuits

A master’s thesis was discussed at the University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering / Department of Electronic Engineering by the student Omar Saad Drea’i on Sunday, June 22, 2025. The thesis is titled:

“Optimum Design and Simulation of Charge Pump Circuits”

The thesis focused on the design, analysis, and improvement of charge pump circuits.

The study aimed to design four topologies of charge pumps and to utilize the Genetic Algorithm technique to enhance output voltage and reduce chip area.

The study concluded that employing the Genetic Algorithm technique led to improvements in the performance of charge pump circuits.

The discussion committee consisted of:
1. Prof. Dr. Khalid Khalil Mohammed – University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering (Chair).
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tarek Yassin – University of Mosul / College of Engineering (Member).
3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Salama – University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering (Member).
4. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Thanon Younis – University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering (Member and Supervisor).

we wish the researcher and the committee continued success and prosperity.
