In implementation of the “Riyada” initiative launched by the Prime Minister, Eng. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and the supervision and presence of the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Mayser Al-Qutaji, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and a group of students and graduates from the university,
The Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Division at the University of Ninevah launched, on Sunday, June 22, 2025, its first training course held within the framework of the “Riyada Initiative”. The course took place at the College of Pharmacy hall, with the support of the College of Pharmacy Deanery.
The course is delivered by trainer Asst. Lecturer Zafar Hisham Othman, targeting a group of students and graduates. The training will continue for five days.
These training courses aim to qualify participants in the fields of project management and entrepreneurship, with a focus on:
1. Developing skills in establishing and efficiently managing projects, and preparing successful business plans.
2. Practical training on preparing economic feasibility studies to ensure project sustainability.
3. Developing entrepreneurial ideas and transforming them into viable projects using modern entrepreneurial methods.
These efforts come as part of the University’s strategy to support entrepreneurship and enhance employment opportunities, in alignment with the national “Riyada Initiative”, launched by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
