On Monday, June 23, 2025, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs at the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, held a meeting with the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salama, along with heads of divisions and units within the department, as well as representatives of scholarships and cultural relations units from the university’s colleges.
The meeting discussed the mechanisms for implementing the provisions of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed between the University of Ninevah and several local and international universities, and explored ways to activate and benefit from them. During the meeting, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs emphasized the importance of utilizing the expertise of faculty members who have returned from scholarship programs across various scientific and academic fields.
The discussion also stressed the need to organize the work of scholarship and cultural relations units in the colleges to ensure procedural flow and strengthen communication and collaboration with academic institutions.
The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations, including the development of a work plan to be implemented in the upcoming period, aimed at enhancing work efficiency and contributing to the University of Ninevah’s strategic goals in scientific cooperation and academic development.
