Under the direction of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and as part of its continuous efforts to strengthen the academic environment and improve infrastructure in educational institutions,
the College of Nursing at the University of Nineveh had the honor, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, of receiving a high-level ministerial committee assigned to inspect, examine, and evaluate the scientific laboratories at the college.
This visit reflects the ministry’s deep commitment to ensuring the highest quality standards in specialized education—especially in healthcare and nursing fields.
The committee was welcomed by:
• Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Fares Abdul Ghani, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Khaled Ibrahim Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs
• Lecturer Dr. Azhar Adel Mohammed, Head of the Basic Nursing Sciences Branch
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Ziyad Tariq Madallah, Head of the Clinical Nursing Sciences Branch
During the visit, the ministerial committee conducted an extensive field tour of the college laboratories, reviewing the available equipment, adopted procedures, and listening to detailed explanations about the labs’ capabilities and the college’s future plans for development and expansion. These efforts aim to serve students and strengthen the practical aspect of nursing education.
The committee praised the evident commitment and high professionalism in managing the laboratories and the creation of a scientific environment that aligns with modern academic standards.
This visit underscores the pivotal role played by the College of Nursing at the University of Ninevah as one of the leading educational institutions in preparing qualified health professionals capable of serving society with competence and dedication.
