Under the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and in response to the appeals made by the Main Blood Bank in Nineveh Governorate—and as part of the university’s humanitarian role in serving the community—
The University of Ninevah organized a wide-scale blood donation campaign on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, and the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamed, along with a distinguished group of university staff members.
A number of university employees participated in the campaign to support the Main Blood Bank with the blood types needed for thalassemia patients and to help meet part of the bank’s urgent needs.
This campaign reflects the university’s ongoing humanitarian efforts and its role in supporting the people of the city and improving public health.
We pray to Almighty God that this volunteer work will be rewarded and counted among the good deeds of those who organized and participated in it.
