As part of the Department of Biomedical Engineering’s strategic plan to support and develop scientific research and enhance its academic staff’s presence in international forums, Engineer Amina Yaqoub (B.Sc. in Communications Engineering / Staff member at the Department of Biomedical Engineering) participated in the 10th International Conference on Radio and Microwave (RFM 2025), held in Penang, Malaysia, from September 17 to 19, 2025.
During the conference, the researcher presented a scientific paper titled:
“Smart Blind Stick: A Destination Guidelines System for Indoor Navigation”
The research was delivered in person before a distinguished audience of scientists and researchers from around the world, providing an exceptional opportunity for exchanging expertise and discussing the outcomes of the scientific study.
This valuable scientific contribution was supervised by:

• Prof. Dr. Dhyaa Mohammed Ali
