Chaired by Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of the University, and attended by all members of the University Council, the University of Ninevah held its first regular session for the academic year 2025–2026 on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at its campus in the Al-Adhba area. This session reflects the University’s vision of launching a new academic year marked by growth, productivity, and development.
The session began with a speech by the University President, in which he extended his congratulations to the Council members on the occasion of the new academic year and the Iraqi National Day. He also expressed his appreciation for their continuous efforts to advance the University and sustain its academic and infrastructural progress.
During the meeting, the Council discussed several items on its agenda, most notably:
• The educational process in the University’s colleges.
• The University’s strategy for organizing scientific activities.
• The Continuing Education Center’s plan for the academic year 2025–2026.
The Council also reviewed a number of strategic projects and topics that contribute to supporting the University’s progress and enhancing its academic and service environment.
