In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Zina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Division organized a specialized training course within its annual plan.

The course, titled “Access to Justice (The Legal Clinic)”, was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 7–8, 2025, at Engineer Emad Al-Mirza Hall in the College of Law.

The lectures were delivered by faculty members of the College of Law:
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Ne’met Mohammed Mustafa
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Amro Nashwan Mohammed
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Maher Hussein Juma
• Lecturer Ameen Jalal Ameen

This specialized course, designed for students and graduates of the College, aimed to enhance their knowledge and practical skills by introducing the concept of the legal clinic as an educational and training space that allows law students to engage with real legal cases. This enables them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting while simultaneously serving the community.

The course witnessed remarkable participation and interaction from attendees, who, by the end of the training, gained a deeper understanding of the main objectives of the legal clinic, including:
1. Professionally training law students through hands-on experience.
2. Promoting legal awareness within the community.
3. Providing legal support to those in need or unable to afford legal representation.
4. Instilling ethical values and social justice principles in students.

In addition, participants became familiar with the range of services offered by the legal clinic, such as legal consultations, assistance in drafting legal memoranda, and other practical skills that enhance their employability in the labor market.
