The Central Committee for Community Service at the University Receives Letters of Appreciation from International Organizations for Its Prominent Role in Reviving Medical Heritage and Promoting Cultural Tourism

With the direct support and continuous encouragement of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and as a distinguished achievement reflecting the university’s commitment to its social responsibilities and enhancing its academic and humanitarian standing both locally and internationally, the Central Committee for Community Service at our university has received several letters of appreciation from global and international organizations. These acknowledgments came in recognition of the committee’s active efforts in reviving medical heritage and promoting cultural and historical tourism in the province.

This international recognition crowns the committee’s outstanding initiatives—most notably the distribution of informative brochures of high scientific and historical value to Arab and foreign visitors in hotels and archaeological sites. These initiatives have significantly contributed to raising tourists’ awareness about the importance of the province’s heritage and medical sites, while also helping to build cultural and humanitarian bridges between nations by showcasing the region’s rich civilizational and medical legacy.

These initiatives highlight the pioneering role the university plays—through its committees and various centers—in supporting national efforts aimed at preserving cultural and medical heritage, while connecting it to the tourism and academic sectors in a way that fosters sustainable development.
