As part of its efforts to enhance its scientific role and strengthen its presence in Arab and international academic forums, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah participated in the “Arab Knights of Toxicology” competition held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the activities of the 6th International Conference on Pharmacy and Toxicology, which took place on October 27–28, 2025, with broad participation from various Arab universities.
The college was represented in this scientific event by Dr. Yasser Hazem Saber, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, who participated in the Research Poster Exhibition, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Saif Khalid Yahya, Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, who served as the academic supervisor of the University of Ninevah’s team. He provided scientific guidance and academic mentoring to the participating team members, who included:
1. Taqwa Muhannad Ali – College of Pharmacy
2. Nabaa Mahmoud Ibrahim Mahmoud – College of Nursing
3. Abdulrahman Ahmed Abdulsalam – College of Medicine
The team demonstrated outstanding performance throughout all stages of the preliminary rounds, achieving advanced rankings among the participating Arab universities. The final results of the competition are scheduled to be announced tomorrow during the closing ceremony in Riyadh, amid strong expectations that the University of Ninevah’s team will achieve top positions in recognition of its exceptional scientific performance.
