As part of the University of Ninevah’s pioneering role in serving the community and promoting health and humanitarian awareness, and under the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, the Human Rights Division at the University of Ninevah organized an awareness and educational lecture entitled “Public Health in Society” for the male inmates of the Juvenile Observation Center in Nineveh.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Uday Shihab Al-Abbadi, who discussed topics related to the importance of maintaining public health. He explained the different types of viral, bacterial, and fungal diseases that can be transmitted from one person to another, emphasizing methods of prevention and healthy habits that help limit the spread of diseases within the community.
This lecture is part of a series of community and awareness activities implemented by the University of Ninevah within the framework of its social responsibility towards various segments of society, aiming to promote the culture of public health and human rights.
