Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani spoke about the signing of the agreement to establish the International Research Center in Nineveh between the local government, the University of Chicago, and the TARI Institute. He emphasized that this project represents a significant step toward restoring Nineveh’s pioneering scientific and research role.
The University President noted that the province has allocated land for the project, which will be fully funded by the American side. He explained that the center aims to advance scientific research, preserve heritage and antiquities, and train academic staff in line with global standards in higher education, research, and development.
