A Faculty Member from the University of Ninevah Participates in an International Conference in London

Dr. Faris Mahmood Ahmed Al-Hamdani from the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University of Ninevah participated in the 24th International Conference of the Advanced Energy Materials Series (AEM2025), held in London, the United Kingdom, from October 8 to 10, 2025.

During the conference, Dr. Al-Hamdani presented his research paper entitled:
“The Efficiency and Lifetime Investigation of Inverted Organic Solar Cells Using ZnO and SnO₂ Nanoparticles as Electron Transport Layer Growth by Pulsed Laser Deposition Technique.”
The study explored the efficiency and lifespan of inverted organic solar cells utilizing ZnO and SnO₂ nanoparticles as electron transport layers prepared through the pulsed laser deposition technique.

The conference witnessed wide participation from researchers and academics representing various countries around the world, including the United States of America, South Korea, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Romania, India, Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic.
Dr. Al-Hamdani was selected as chair of one of the scientific sessions in recognition of his competence and academic excellence.

This participation was made possible through the support and encouragement of the University of Ninevah Presidency, represented by Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, who is keen on motivating researchers to take part in international conferences to stay informed about the latest studies and advanced technologies in the fields of energy and modern materials — thereby contributing to the enhancement of the university’s academic and research standing.
