University of Ninevah Celebrates the Graduation of Its Seventh Cohort for the Academic Year 2024–2025 – “The Class of Excellence and Innovation”

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and in the presence of the Philippine Ambassador along with a high-level government delegation, as well as presidents and representatives of public and private universities, university staff, and the students’ families, the University of Nineveh celebrated on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, the graduation of a new group of its students from the seventh cohort of the academic year 2024–2025, titled “The Class of Excellence and Innovation.”

The ceremony commenced with the procession of the graduating students, filling the atmosphere with joy and pride among their families and professors, followed by the formal opening of the official program.

The University President delivered a speech congratulating the graduates and their families, praising the efforts of the academic and administrative staff in supporting the students throughout their educational journey. The Head of the Preparatory Committee, the Administrative and Financial Assistant, Prof. Dr. Ammar Saadoon Hamid, also delivered his speech, followed by speeches from the Head of the Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch, Asst. Prof. Dr. Basil Khalaf Hammoud, and the student representative, who expressed their gratitude for the support and care provided by the university.

Afterwards, the graduates recited the general oath and the special oath of their respective colleges, after which the ceremony for conferring academic degrees began.

At the conclusion of the event, the university presented its shield to the participating entities in recognition of their role in the success of the graduation ceremony. The top-ranking students at the university, as well as the top three students from each of its colleges, were also honored with the University Shield and commemorative gifts in celebration of their excellence and achievements.
