Under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and the supervision of the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, and with the support of the Shams Al-Salam Development Foundation, the University of Ninevah held the 2025 Job Fair on Sunday, 23 November 2025, under the slogan “Partners in Building Generations”, with the participation of 19 companies and institutions from various governmental, private, and civil sectors.
The fair witnessed the attendance of Member of Parliament Dr. Khaled Al-Obaidi, several presidents and representatives of public and private universities, in addition to deans, company representatives, and a large gathering of students and graduates.
The opening of the first day’s activities began with a speech by the University President, who emphasized the importance of the Career Development and Employment Division in connecting the university’s graduates with available job opportunities in both the public and private sectors. He also highlighted the university’s continuous commitment to supporting its graduates and empowering them to enter the labor market with confidence.
For his part, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs explained the significance of this annual fair, which the university consistently organizes as an effective platform that provides real opportunities for employment and training. Additionally, the Director of the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Division, Mr. Makram, presented a detailed explanation of the participating companies, the registration mechanism for graduates, and the adopted organizational procedures.
Following the speeches, the exhibition booths were opened, showcasing a collection of entrepreneurial and artistic works created by the university’s students and graduates, as part of the university’s efforts to support talents and emerging projects. The fair aims to open new horizons for employment and training, link graduates directly with the labor market, enhance communication between participating institutions and students, and offer various job opportunities and training programs.
At the conclusion of the event, the University of Nineveh presented participation shields to the companies and institutions involved, in addition to awarding certificates of appreciation to the organizing committee members, reaffirming its commitment to building strategic partnerships with various entities to help empower youth and develop their professional skills.
