As part of the cooperation agreement between the University of Ninevah and the Northern Technical University, the Department of Microbiology at the College of Medicine – University of Ninevah organized a scientific visit to the Technical Research Center at the Northern Technical University, accompanied by a group of third-year students. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the research and laboratory devices used in medical and technical fields.
During the visit, the students listened to a detailed explanation of the most important laboratory devices and their mechanisms of operation, particularly advanced equipment used in blood analysis and precise sample diagnostics, as well as their role in supporting scientific research and diagnostic services.
The visit also included a tour inside the research laboratories, where participants explored a range of devices and technologies and learned about various scientific tools relied upon by researchers in experiments and analyses. This visit contributed to enhancing the students’ practical skills and expanding their knowledge of how to handle modern laboratory equipment.
At the end of the visit, the students expressed their great benefit from this scientific experience, which helped bridge theoretical information with practical application and provided them with valuable hands-on exposure related to their future work in medical laboratories and research.
