Under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabbouni, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Iman Ghanem, Head of the Anatomy Department, the department organized a scientific activity in which several second-year students delivered a seminar entitled:
Clinical Correlates of Nasal and Pharyngeal Anatomy in Upper Airway Obstruction
This activity aims to develop students’ abilities to link anatomical information with clinical aspects, enhance their understanding of the relationship between the anatomy of the nose and pharynx and cases of upper airway obstruction, and strengthen their presentation and communication skills. It also encourages active student participation within a student-centered learning approach.
At the conclusion of the activity, the department’s leadership praised the students for their outstanding efforts and participation, affirming the continuation of such scientific events that contribute to reinforcing the clinical understanding of anatomy and enhancing the scientific and practical competencies of medical students.
