As part of the activities of the Science and Technology Parks Department / Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, and in implementation of the division’s annual plan, the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Electronic Engineering – University of Nineveh organized a training course on Thursday and Sunday, corresponding to 18 and 21 December 2025, entitled:
“From Zero to AI: Python & Deep Learning Essentials.”
The course was delivered by Dr. Sarmad Fakhruddin and Dr. Mohammed Haqi.
The course covered the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, an introduction to machine learning, as well as practical applications in the field of deep learning using the Python programming language. It targeted the college’s students and graduates, aiming to develop their technical knowledge and skills, keep pace with recent advancements in artificial intelligence, and meet the requirements of the labor market.
The course witnessed notable interaction from participants, featuring constructive scientific discussions and an exchange of expertise. This contributed to enhancing knowledge, broadening students’ perspectives, supporting their academic and professional orientations, and empowering them to employ these technologies in their current and future projects.
