Distinguished Academic Participation by the Dean of the College of Law at the University of Ninevah

Professor Dr. Zeina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Ninevah, participated in the Fourth Scientific Conference of the College of Law at the University of Kufa, entitled “The Al-Askari Shrine in Samarra (peace be upon them) in the Light of Sharia and Law.” During the conference, she presented a distinguished research paper entitled “The Sharia and Legal Protection of the Holy Al-Askari Shrine from Violations.”

In her paper, the Dean highlighted the vital role of law in safeguarding religious symbols, reviewing the legal and Sharia frameworks that ensure the protection of rights and the prevention of violations. She emphasized the importance of activating legislation in a manner that guarantees the protection of holy shrines and reinforces the values of justice and respect for the rule of law.
