The University of Ninevah launched, on Monday, January 12, 2026, a specialized training course organized by the Continuing Education Center in cooperation with the Legal Affairs Department, entitled:
“Public Fund Management (A Reading of the Law on the Sale and Lease of State Properties for the Purpose of Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption)”
The course aims to enhance legal and professional awareness of the mechanisms of public fund management, and to shed light on the legislative and regulatory aspects related to the protection of public funds and the fight against financial and administrative corruption. The course is attended by a distinguished group of academics and specialists in legal and administrative affairs.
The first lecture was delivered by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamid, while the second lecture was presented by Dr. Yazan Saeb Ahmed.
The course will continue for three days, featuring scientific sessions starting at 11:00 a.m., and will be held in Professor Dr. Khalil Sayyid Mar‘i Hall at the College of Information Technology.
This course comes as part of the University of Ninevah’s efforts to support institutional capacity building and to promote the principles of integrity and good governance.
