The College of Medicine at the University of Ninevah Opens Its Doors to Arab Students and Strengthens Educational and Collaborative Bridges

Within the framework of the “Study in Iraq” program, which aims to expand academic cooperation and strengthen scientific relations between Iraq and the brotherly Arab countries, the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Ninevah, Assistant Professor Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Duboni, received the students Ahmed Abdel Rahman (Republic of Sudan) and Hussein Hamdi (Arab Republic of Egypt).

The assistant lecturers, M.M. Mustafa Ahmed Abdel Hamid and M.M. Safaa Rajab Mohammed from the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, played an active role in facilitating the arrival of foreign students to the university.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized that this admission comes within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s policy towards openness with Arab countries, and the strengthening of scientific and cultural ties between Iraq and the Arab brotherly nations. He noted that the College of Medicine strives to provide a comprehensive and supportive educational environment for all its students, particularly foreign students, to ensure their academic success and integration into the university community.

The meeting also included listening to the students’ aspirations and affirming the college’s readiness to provide necessary academic and administrative support, reflecting the positive image of Iraqi universities and their pioneering role in hosting students from various Arab countries.
