The Continuing Education Center at the University of Ninevah, in cooperation with the College of Information Technology, inaugurated a specialized training course titled “Introduction to Cybersecurity (CCNP Security)” on Sunday, February 1, 2026, as part of the university’s plans to develop technical skills and enhance awareness of information security.
The course runs for five days and is held in the Engineer Mayzar Hall at the College of Law, with daily lectures starting at 10:00 a.m.
The course is delivered by a group of faculty members and specialists, including:

The course aims to introduce participants to cybersecurity concepts, the fundamentals of network protection, and methods of dealing with digital threats in accordance with modern standards, contributing to improving the academic and practical competence of participating students and university staff.
This course comes within the framework of the University of Ninevah’s commitment to keeping pace with technological developments and strengthening cooperation between its training centers and specialized colleges.
