Chaired by the Dean of the College of Medicine and attended by the associate deans, heads and rapporteurs of the scientific departments, and a number of faculty members, the Academic Accreditation Unit held an expanded meeting to discuss the outcomes of the external examiners’ visit as part of ongoing efforts to improve academic performance and ensure the quality of the educational process.
The meeting began with a detailed presentation on the visit delivered by the Head of the Academic Accreditation Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Nadeem Ahmed, outlining the key observations and recommendations presented by the evaluation team.
The meeting included discussions of these observations and explored ways to benefit from them to strengthen points of excellence and address areas requiring development, in line with approved quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.
Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among academic departments and administrative units and working collectively to enhance the quality of medical education and improve its outcomes, thereby positively impacting the college’s academic progress.
This meeting forms part of the college’s continuous efforts to follow up on external evaluation results and implement their recommendations in pursuit of sustainable institutional development.
