The Psychological Counseling and University Guidance Unit at the College organized a workshop titled “Digital Security: Strategies to Counter Electronic Blackmail,” delivered by Lect. Dr. Karam Mohammed Mahdi Saleh and Lect. Dr. Ahmed Qasim Ahmed.
The workshop addressed mechanisms for confronting common cyberattacks such as phishing and ransomware, with a focus on methods for protecting personal data and securing digital accounts. It also reviewed proper legal and technical procedures for dealing with blackmail attempts, aiming to prepare an aware generation capable of promoting cybersecurity culture within society.
