Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Ninevah Participates in Capacity-Building Workshop on Quality Assurance and Bologna Process Implementation

In line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward promoting a culture of quality and activating the requirements of the Bologna Process, and based on the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Ridwan Hussein Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Ninevah, participated in an in-person workshop dedicated to implementing the capacity-building plan in the fields of quality assurance, Bologna Process implementation, and external efficiency. The workshop was held as part of an approved training program supported by the World Bank.

The workshop took place in Baghdad – Al-Jadriya / Coral Hotel, from 8 February 2026 to 12 February 2026, spanning five intensive training days. It covered strategic themes including mechanisms for applying quality assurance standards, requirements for adopting and implementing the Bologna system (first phase), alignment of academic programs with international standards, and strengthening external efficiency indicators to support institutional and programmatic academic accreditation.

This participation reflects the University of Ninevah’s commitment, represented by the College of Nursing, to engaging with national development programs and adopting global best practices in academic governance and quality management, contributing to improved institutional performance, enhancement of educational quality and outcomes, and strengthening the university’s role in serving society and the healthcare sector according to solid and sustainable standards.
